Licensed P&C Agent (Full Time) -A-1 Insurance Agency North

A-1 Insurance Agency (North) is an independent insurance agency that handles home, auto, and business insurance.  We are seeking a friendly and quality customer service professional to service new business and maintain current business.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls and emails
• Process quote information for prospective new clients
• Respond to inquiries regarding existing policies and coverage
• Process requested changes
• Electronically note inquiries, changes, claims, comments, and actions taken
• Handle payments received
• Follow up on tasks for accuracy and completion
• Process claim notes, advise of claim processes, refer to the proper entity if necessary
• Administrative duties including electronic scanning and filing, incoming and outgoing mail, and similar tasks
• Other duties as needed.
  

Qualifications/Skills: Applicant should be professional, the ability to multi-task and prioritize work, excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be detail-oriented, show initiative and an ability to work independently.  Must have efficient typing skills.

Requirements: Applicants must have current Indiana Property & Casualty license. 

Compensation: Negotiable, paid federal holidays

Regular Hours: Full-time, 8:30AM - 5:00PM Monday-Thursday, 8:30AM - 4:30PM Fridays
