Another day, another insured passes on purchasing Cyber Insurance. Insurance pros know that, regardless of what your commercial insureds do or how “tech savvy” (or not) they are, understanding cyber risks and insurance is essential. This course helps make Cyber risks relatable to small businesses. We’ll start by discussing 3rd party exposures like what happens if your insured’s business is liable for compromising someone’s data or damaging another’s network. We’ll then review 1st party exposures like losses to your insured’s own data, network damage, point-of-sale/website failure, and several others. (Instructor: Kevin Amrhein)

Direct writers are spending over $7 billion dollars on marketing this year. You need to determine how your agency will stand out and fight against billion dollar budgets. The answer is simple: you need to create a brand that attracts positive attention, speaks to your target client, and evokes your entire team to become brand ambassadors for your agency. Many agents love this idea - but they chose insurance as their career, not marketing. In this class, we clarify branding and give agents actionable steps in developing their agency’s identity. (Instructor: Kelly Donahue-Piro)
Time
9:00 AM - 10:30 AM

44% of sales people give up after one follow up and 80% of sales require five follow ups. Knowing this statistic, what do we need to do to overcome it?  The answer is spend time sharpening your sales prowess through training and execution. We will explore the best strategies for prospecting, vetting a deal, account rounding at the point of sale and asking for the business. In addition, we will work through how to combine marketing, referrals and a personal brand into your very own ridiculously amazing sales process. Everyone has to buy insurance and this process will show you how to get them to buy it from you! (Instructor: Kelly Donahue-Piro)
