What is the Big I Indiana Social Club?

The Social Club is about making connections and fostering relationships. It's an opportunity to get together with the insurance community to socialize and take a break from the office. We're making insurance fun! We'll get together at various locations around the state and just enjoy each other's company - no education programming or CE. Come join us at an upcoming event and see what it's all about!

Upcoming Events:

Get ready for some heartwarming conversations in June as we break down The Correspondent by Virginia Evans, the book that topped so many “Best of 2025” lists.

This epistolary debut chronicles prickly seventy-something Sybil Van Antwerp’s life through the letters she writes to friends, family, customer service reps, authors she admires, and more. Sybil believes in writing as a way to preserve civility and document her life, one that we see has held a good amount of heartbreak that she is still working through. Even as she uses her writing to make sense of the past, her letters introduce new possibilities for her future as she corresponds with old colleagues and strangers, family members she never knew existed, and even would-be suitors. By the end of this book, you’ll wish Sybil was your pen pal. Read the summary and purchase the book through your local bookstore here.

When a shadowy enemy threatens this sanctuary, Alix, with the help of the mysterious Librarian and a costume-shop owner, must flee through different literary worlds, from Jane Austen to Sherlock Holmes, to protect the library and herself. It's a story about the power of books, found family, and fighting for the places that offer escape and hope. Read the summary and purchase the book through your local bookstore here.
