Errors and Omissions Road Map Overview, Policy Analysis
This course provides a thorough review of the exposures that may cause an uncovered claim, supported by current statistics, in order to identify those areas within the agency that require a focus of risk management efforts. This course will discuss E&O claims and defenses, in particular, the defenses of: 1) invariable practice and 2) documentation. Identifying and closing inconsistencies in workflows will be discussed as well as documentation procedures and the importance of using appropriate disclaimer language.
